HALF OF THE HALF
Recommended for healthy riders ages 9- 90- This will be a ride of nearly 8 miles over half of the Hidden Gem Half Marathon course.
Registration and check-in for this ride will open at 10:00 am- The ride departs at 11:00 am.
There is also a ride for the youngest Flossmoor residents known as The LAST MILE- Accompanied children of any age are welcome to join in the ride for the last mile. Leaves Infant Jesus Parking lot at 11:15am.
Check-in and ride starts at Infant Jesus of Prague School west parking lot.
The community ride will finish in Downtown Flossmoor and be followed by a party on the deck of Flossmoor Station Brewery and the annual introduction of the Hidden Gem beer.
All riders must register in advance, wear a helmet, and sign a waiver. No unaccompanied minors will be allowed to ride without a guardian.
Flossmoor’s Future is hosting the annual community bike ride
on June 1, 2024, to highlight the last half of the 13.1-mile course of the Hidden Gem Half Marathon. Flossmoor residents, registered half marathon runners, and the just plain curious are invited to “Bike the Gem.”.
This is not a race but rather a community bike ride.
